Have an Avocado on the Half Shell!

An Avocado a Day Keeps the Doctor Away!

We enjoy eating California avocados this way several times a week as well.  The kids can’t get enough of them.  A very healthy way to eat low carb while getting a dose of healthy fats.  Very beneficial for raising your HDL.  Can eat this as an appetizer or as a healthy lunch.

  1. Cut a LoveCado in half
  2. Take out the pit
  3. Put the avocado in a small bowl
  4. Pore Extra Virgin Olive oil into the hole of the avocado
  5. Add a touch of your best balsamic vinegar to the olive Oil
  6. Add salt and pepper
  7. Spoon out and enjoy!

  1. Sound great, like to add either crab Louie, chicken or tuna salad, or my favorite is chili and beans and cottage cheese, now that a meal
